The iPhone version of Call Control for BroadSoft BroadWorks have now also been updated to support R18 and was released to the App Store over the weekend.

This update (v1.38) also features a few UI changes related to iOS5 (mostly new colors) and some text changes.

Remote Office for iPhone have just been updated to v1.32 and now

- handles transfer of incoming calls (via keypad) *)
- includes basic Call Center support (join / unjoin the Call Centers you are a member of)

v1.32 also includes these bug fixes:
- Fixes a bug that could crash the app when viewing the call log and some entries have a timestamp in GMT 0.
- Faster startup, and also fixes an issue with the app hanging for 30s at startup

And as usual: If you are with a service provider that have not yet signed up for an Xtended Marketplace with BroadSoft and would like to see how the RemoteOffice App works with your BroadWorks system, drop me a note (at kim@winther.dk)…..

Call Centers
All Call Centers that you account is a member of are listed in the Settings screen, and if the admin have allowed you to join/unjoin the Call Centers, you will be able to do so.

Transferring a call
When the Call Control app is started while in a call, the Call Status screen will be displayed:

If the active call was an incoming call, the Transfer button will be visible – and when pressed – a keypad is shown on which you can enter the number you wish to transfer the call to.

TDC Scale Assistent for Scale customers of Danish carrier TDC  is now available. It’s DKK 30,- but courtesy of TDC the first 1000 copies are free – so hurry over to the app store to get it while supplies last

v1.31 includes two bug fixes

RemoteOffice is similar to CallControl but works with the Xtended Marketplace of BroadSoft – utilizing the integration of marketplace with the affiliated service providers to validate user account information and automatically configure the App (and thereby reducing support needs).

Version 1.3 of the iPhone Call Control (for BroadWorks) is now available at the App Store.

v1.3 includes

• Support for BroadWorks Anywhere settings.
• Automatic refresh of settings and call log.
• DND and RO indicators on the keypad.
• Default Sort order of Contacts respected (firstname, lastname)
• Improved handling of non-latin character sets.

Update: If you experience a delay before the App is responding after logging in, please contact me (kim@winther.dk) for a workaround.

The next version of Call Control will have support for BroadWorks Anywhere settings and have also gotten a few other enhancements, such as

automatic refresh of the call log and the settings (useful if you use the app together with e.g. the BroadWorks Toolbar)

proper sorting of the Contacts

RO and DND indicators on the keypad

I would be happy with some feedback on this new version – if you are interested in trying it, I just need your iDevice’ UDID (it works on iPhone, iPod touch and iPad) -I will then email you a fresh copy along with a mobileprovision file.
