RemoteOffice is similar to CallControl but works with the Xtended Marketplace of BroadSoft – utilizing the integration of marketplace with the affiliated service providers to validate user account information and automatically configure the App (and thereby reducing support needs).

I’m working on a version of the iPhone Call Control app with Remote Office support and “click to dial” from the call log; an initial version is ready but needs to be tested a bit. If you want to help, please send me an email – I need your iPhones UDID (can found in the Summary tab in iTunes by clicking the Serial Number when the phone is connected), so please send that along (to kim@winther.dk)
The UDID is a 40 character string like this:
270f8fcef05bb189dc9cad20c96ddc8a2e67283f
You can also use this free iPhone app – it will help extract the UDID and create a mail with it.
Update: the new version also has dialing from a keypad and iPhone contacts…..
The call control app was approved yesterday and is now available at http://itunes.com/apps/callcontrol .
Call Control enables easy control of DND and Call Forwarding settings of your BroadWorks powered deskphone.
To use Call Control an account with a service provider that offers BroadWorks Assistant is required, specifically OCI-P access is required, and the account must include the following services
- Do Not Disturb
- Call Forwarding – Always
- Call Forwarding – No Answer
- Call Forwarding – Not Reachable
- Call Forwarding – Busy
- Basic Call Logs
Call Control has been tested with danish service provider fibertel.dk (using BroadWorks R14) and BroadSoft’s developer sandbox (running R17).
Got an iPhone app ready that enables easy control of Call Forwarding and DND settings for a BroadWorks phone account. Ping me if you would like to test it….
