v1.31 of the iPhone Call Control released

Version 1.31 of the iPhone Call Control (for BroadWorks) released.

v1.31 includes two bug fixes

  • Fixes a bug that could crash the app when viewing the call log and some entries have a timestamp in GMT 0.
  • Faster startup, and also fixes an issue with the app hanging for 30s at startup

RemoteOffice for iPhone now available

RemoteOffice is similar to CallControl but works with the Xtended Marketplace of BroadSoft – utilizing the integration of marketplace with the affiliated service providers to validate user account information and automatically configure the App (and thereby reducing support needs).

If you are with a service provider and would like to see how the RemoteOffice App works with your BroadWorks system, drop me a note (at kim@winther.dk)…..

Call Control v1.3 now available at the App Store

Version 1.3 of the iPhone Call Control (for BroadWorks) is now available at the App Store.

v1.3 includes

  • Support for BroadWorks Anywhere settings.
  • Automatic refresh of settings and call log.
  • DND and RO indicators on the keypad.
  • Default Sort order of Contacts respected (firstname, lastname)
  • Improved handling of non-latin character sets.

Update: If you experience a delay before the App is responding after logging in, please contact me (kim@winther.dk) for a workaround.

BroadWorks Anywhere support

The next version of Call Control will have support for BroadWorks Anywhere settings and have also gotten a few other enhancements, such as

  • automatic refresh of the call log and the settings (useful if you use the app together with e.g. the BroadWorks Toolbar)
  • proper sorting of the Contacts
  • RO and DND indicators on the keypad

  • I would be happy with some feedback on this new version – if you are interested in trying it, I just need your iDevice’ UDID (it works on iPhone, iPod touch and iPad) -I will then email you a fresh copy along with a mobileprovision file.

Updated (v1.2) iPhone Call Control (for BroadWorks) – now in the app store

An updated version of the call control app is now available at the App Store.

    What’s new is

    - Support for Remote Office
    - Dialing (request call-back) via keypad, Call Log and Contacts
plus a few minor changes to the UI and fixes of a few bugs.

As usual – please do not hesitate to report any issue and suggestions for improvements are also always welcome….

Testing “click to dial” and remote office support

I’m working on a version of the iPhone Call Control app with Remote Office support and “click to dial” from the call log; an initial version is ready but needs to be tested a bit. If you want to help, please send me an email – I need your iPhones UDID (can found in the Summary tab in iTunes by clicking the Serial Number when the phone is connected), so please send that along (to kim@winther.dk)

The UDID is a 40 character string like this:
    270f8fcef05bb189dc9cad20c96ddc8a2e67283f

You can also use this free iPhone app –  it will help extract the UDID and create a mail with it.

Update: the new version also has dialing from a keypad and iPhone contacts…..
