An updated version of the call control app is now available at the App Store.

What’s new is

- Support for Remote Office
- Dialing (request call-back) via keypad, Call Log and Contacts
plus a few minor changes to the UI and fixes of a few bugs.

As usual – please do not hesitate to report any issue and suggestions for improvements are also always welcome….

I’m working on a version of the iPhone Call Control app with Remote Office support and “click to dial” from the call log; an initial version is ready but needs to be tested a bit. If you want to help, please send me an email – I need your iPhones UDID (can found in the Summary tab in iTunes by clicking the Serial Number when the phone is connected), so please send that along (to kim@winther.dk)

The UDID is a 40 character string like this:
270f8fcef05bb189dc9cad20c96ddc8a2e67283f

You can also use this free iPhone app –  it will help extract the UDID and create a mail with it.

Update: the new version also has dialing from a keypad and iPhone contacts…..

The call control app was approved yesterday and is now available at http://itunes.com/apps/callcontrol .

Call Control enables easy control of DND and Call Forwarding settings of your BroadWorks powered deskphone.
To use Call Control an account with a service provider that offers BroadWorks Assistant is required, specifically OCI-P access is required, and the account must include the following services

- Do Not Disturb
- Call Forwarding – Always
- Call Forwarding – No Answer
- Call Forwarding – Not Reachable
- Call Forwarding – Busy
- Basic Call Logs

Call Control has been tested with danish service provider fibertel.dk (using BroadWorks R14) and BroadSoft’s developer sandbox (running R17).
